Finally! Sorry for being so silent for a couple of days but I came back from Stockholm with a big fat cold...

On monday I still had one after-conference day in Stockholm. After some seeerious shopping I had to look for shelter from cold and rain in a café where I made a first rough version of that little sketch.

Inspired by Kirsten Jassies workshop on Visual Storytelling - one of my favourites - which was packed with useful information, tips and trends I wanted to "visualize" the workshop for you in a new way.

You can find a summary of Kisten's presentation on slideshare. It has been selected as "presentation of the week" on slideshare the day after the conference and has had almost 100.000 (!) views until this moment. Talking about trends...

Saturday was reserved for keynotes and workshops covering different fields from photography to marketing and SEO. Below you can see part of our wonderful group of speakers

Another of my personal highlights besides Kirstens`s workshop were Thea and Toni from sisterMAGAZINE who talked about their creative approach. These two ladies definitely know what they're doing, and they are doing it with charm. And a very sweet accent;) I knew and liked their online magazine before - now that I know the smart sisters behind it I am a fan.

Sunday was the day of our Stockholm City Design Tour where we got to visit some unique stores. The Shop owners and managers shared their stories with us and spoiled us with sweet treats, drinks and goodies.

One of our stops was Lotta Agaton's store which opened its doors exclusively for us (it is usually only open on thursdays). Imagine about 70 enthusiastic bloggers in a tiny store drooling over handpicked scandinavian design objects. Most of us left a Krona or two here...

But Scandinavian Design isn't (and has not always been!) only black and white understatement and I liked that the tour covered different styles and stages.

Lots of inspiration, information and fun - I picked some bits from here and some pieces from there, just to give you an idea.

And last but not least I met a bunch of interesting, funny, smart and creative people I hope to keep in touch with!

Now: Back to my cup of tea and my cozy warm bed and hush! you stupid cold.

See ya!
