Have you ever heard of geometry daily? When I found out about it I was not only intrigued by the simple idea to create and post one geometric pattern every day. I also really like the whole story behind it: Tilman Zitzmann is a graphic designer from Nuremberg, Germany who started geometry daily when he became a stay-at-home dad for one year after his wife returned to her full time job. It was a "side project" while his main job was to look after the two little kids. A way to give his passion for geometry and graphics still a place in his life.
Since then the site and his graphics have become more and more popular. Now you can buy some of the pieces as prints or buy a whole pack of them to use them in your own graphics for non-commercial use.
Please hop over to Tilman's site, dive into hundreds of geometric patterns and be inspired.
And if you want to see what can happen when someone is really inspired watch this wonderful music video by Carlo Vaga (music by Chilly Gonzales. Oh Chilly Gonzalez!) and animated graphics from geometry daily. No more words. Watch and listen.
