We just got back from a long weekend at my mom's countryhouse and garden and found ourselves in a picture postcard when we arrived... Unbelievable that it was all covered in snow the last time we were here, only six weeks ago.

We spent our time collecting snails for a snail-race...

finding some beauties at a small fleamarket in the village...

and having fresh fish. (No, not fished by us. That would be too good to be true.)

And what started with a picture postcard view has to end with one, too...

Have a good start into the week!

Thank you, Gudy and Jen! Yes it was a perfect weekend!
@ Ana: The constant noise of two boys in the background is not in the pictures ;) But it was very relaxing, indeed.

So green and fresh! Lovely place, I'm sure. But snails...sorry to say they aren't my friends anymore. We have lot of them in our garden and they eat everything...so I can't eat them anymore nor be their friend and I think if I ate them before I wasn't a good friend then either.Haha.Have a lovey week!

Those snails look awesome. Unlike Kreetta, snails are still my friends, but maybe that will change once they'll start eating in my vegetable garden ;) Looks like you had a lovely relaxed countryside weekend! Bliss!

Am sooooo jealous of the barbequed fish (my absolute favourite) and that view and sunset.... let's not forget our escargot friends:-)

I know, I'm very lucky to have that place... And I love this discussion about snails!
