MY MOODBOARD LINK PARTY CONTRIBUTION: INDIAN SUMMER

It's already time for another round of the monthly moodboard link party on DesignClaud! (Here you can find my contribution to the very first edition last month)

This month we were supposed to create a color palette and moodboard based on a food pic we took. Though challenge for me - I usually don't take photos of my food. But I made an exception this time and snapped a picture of a quick and fresh salad I had for lunch this week. Even though I love good food I am not a very passionate cook - that's why I usually make myself just a salad if I'm only cooking for myself. And probably also because I just love salads - my "eat me" board on pinterest is full of them.

I'm not a very passionate (or talented) gardener, either, so I'm extra proud of that little yellow tomato which is from my balcony and the parsley and basil from my mini garden in a bathtub...

I had no idea what kind of moodboard to create from that picture before I started, but when I saw the colors in the palette they made me think of Indian Summer right away. Changing colors, surprisingly warm days and colder nights. Very bright and colorful, but with darker backgrounds and mixed with warm and earthy tones.

Hi Lena, such a beautiful mood board and so different from your previous one. I love the Indian Summer feeling you've created. The bright but also dark colors are lovely. Beautiful image of the fern and tomatoes! Thanks for joining this month :-) xx

Sehr, sehr schön! Ich mag, dass du dunkle Rottöne ausgewählt hast. Das macht es ruhiger und eleganter. Es hat ein bisschen tribe look finde ich. Hab eine gute Woche, Lena!

You have got such a designer's eye Lena! Great colour combinations and choice. That salad looks delicious - nothing better than a good crunchy salad, with a good dressing of course. I bet that tomato tasted extra good. xx Mel

Thank you for your lovely comments - I wish autumn really looked like this in Berlin, too. Right now it's more grey and rainy...

The salad looks delicious. I like the rich colors of your mood board. I guess you are also slowly embracing fall...
